Location: Bedford, Massachusetts

Schedule: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week

Pay: $35-$40 per hour

Soliant Education is seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher with either Moderate or Severe Licensure for an immediate opening in the Bedford, Massachusetts area. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to work with students who require specialized instruction and support.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
  • Provide instruction tailored to the unique needs of each student, incorporating specialized techniques and accommodations as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and support staff to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive approach to student learning and development.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress, behavior, and attendance.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student performance and address any concerns or questions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
  • Valid Massachusetts teaching license with Moderate or Severe Special Needs endorsement.
  • Experience working with students with disabilities, preferably in a school setting.
  • Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
