Each year approximately 60,000 residents from the High Point, Winston-Salem, Kernersville and Greensboro areas choose AHWFB High Point Medical Center to care for them in all types of emergencies.
Location:
High Point, NC is conveniently located in the beautiful Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina has a moderate climate with all four seasons and a cost of living well below the national average. The Blue Ridge Mountains and Parkway are a 1-to-2-hour drive to the north and west, and North Carolina's beaches are close enough to enjoy during long weekends. The region is on an upward trajectory that still maintains its Southern roots and small-town feel. Although the region is traditionally Southern in its friendliness, it has an international vibe with an array of festivals and a wide variety of restaurants and entertainment options.

Affiliated with Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist (AHWFB), Wake Forest Emergency Providers (WFEP) is a nationally recognized, 501c3 non-profit, proudly providing health care for all We are contracted with select, partner organizations to provide staffing for Hospital Emergency Departments, Free Standing Emergency Departments, and Urgent Cares throughout the North Central and Northwest regions of North Carolina.

Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant Program
- Licensed, or eligible, for North Carolina as a PA.
- BLS, ACLS, and ATLS through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
