We seek aPRN Pharmacistto perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with the processing of prescriptions for our pharmacies in Northwest Indiana. Per Diem Pharmacists are classified as temporary employees and work on an intermittent basis.

Schedule of Genoa Healthcare Pharmacies are Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. Candidates must have some availability during that time.

Locations include: Michigan City, Merrillville, Valparaiso, Gary, East Chicago, Portage

Primary Responsibilities: 

Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitionersProvides information to customers about medications and their useFocuses on providing a superior level of customer serviceEnsures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of PharmacyAdministration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of PharmacyAny other usual and customary pharmacy duties

Required Qualifications: 

Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmDCurrent pharmacist license in state of IndianaCertified immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 3 months of hireAccess to reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
