We are hiring substitute food service workers for Central Community Schools. No previous experience is required

Nutrition and Food Service workers are essential to local schools and student learning. Start a phenomenal job that allows you to give kids a balanced start to their day

Minimum Requirements:
• High School Diploma/GED

Responsibilities and Job Description(s): Under the direction and supervision of the district's full-time professional staff, you will assist in providing help with food preparation and distribution to students, along with other related kitchen duties as the need arises. This Includes things like:
  • Assisting with prep work and cooking of nutritionally balanced meals, by accurately weighing and measuring ingredients and portions.
  • Carrying pots, pans, utensils, and trays of food to and from workstations, stove, and refrigerator, in accordance with school district safety standards.
  • Following all of the accurate food safety and storage rules.
  • Operating all of the mechanical kitchen equipment accurately and safely.
  • Cleaning work areas, equipment, and utensils, while following all established sanitation procedures.
  • Serving students in a friendly, efficient manner.
  • Assisting with money and meal accountability.
