Currently we are looking for a Fulltime Physical TherapyTechnician for our Keizer location.

ESSENTIAL POSITION DUTIES
  • Preparestreatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures andprotocols.
  • Prepares patients for physicaltherapy treatment by welcoming comforting providing and/orassisting patient into physical therapy apparel (shorts gownsetc.)
  • Does laundry maintaining an ample supplyof clean linens.
  • Under direct supervision ofand with cosignature by records daily notes.
  • Provides information to patients by answering questionsand requests.
  • Helps treat patients by applyingice or heat packs helping patients onto exercise equipmentmonitoring motion; tracking walking time and distance; performingprescribed exercises and strengthening techniques as requested byPT.
  • Educates patients by demonstrating properuse of equipment and exercise routines.
  • Maintains patient confidence and protects operations bykeeping information confidential.
  • Maintainssafe and clean working environment by complying with proceduresrules and regulations.
  • Provides equipment andsupplies by sterilizing and delivering equipment and supplies totreatment area; positioning equipment for therapist access;positioning patient on equipment.
  • Ensuresoperation of physical therapy equipment by completing preventivemaintenance requirements.
  • Maintains physicaltherapy supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventorylevel; anticipating needed supplies and communicating to person incharge or ordering
  • Enhances physical therapydepartment and organization reputation by accepting ownership foraccomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunitiesto add value to job accomplishments is a team player.
  • Collects garbage at the end of each workingday.
  • Reports any issues needing resolution toPhysical Therapists.
MINIMUMPOSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience
Education:
Bachelors of Science inKinesiology or related field.
Experience:
Prior experience incustomer service
Physical Requirements andWorking Conditions
Requires prolonged standingbending stooping and stretching. Requires eyehand coordination andmanual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard mouse photocopiertelephone calculator and other office equipment. Requires normalrange of hearing and eyesight to record prepare and presentreports.
