71652BRJob Posting Title:CT TechnologistDepartment:RadiologyAutoReqId:71652BRStatus:Part-TimeStandard Hours per Week:24 Job Posting Category:RadiologyJob Posting Description:New hires with more than 1 year of experience may be eligible for a $15,000 sign-on bonus.New hires with less than 1 year of experience may be eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus.**Various schedules available.**Weekend incentive pay available for relevant schedules.The CT Tech is responsible for the following:+ Performs routine imaging examinations in CT on a scheduled and emergency basis.+ Reviews and evaluates requisitions for CT imaging procedures, abstracting data from patient charts and determining appropriateness of procedure prescribed given diagnosis and clinical signs for CT examinations.+ Identify patients according to Hospital Policy with 2 identifiers.+ Performs basic imaging analysis (e.g. 3D).+ Selects appropriate equipment and technical factors to identify pathologic and normal anatomy.+ Assesses patients' and parents' physical and emotional status and ability to respond to instructions and develops plan for adjusting to patients' specific needs.+ Explain the examination and is able to answer questions from patient and parents regarding the exam and Radiation exposure, practices ALARA.+ Consistently provides exceptional care and exceptional service.+ Follows Departmental QC/Exam Data Integrity Workflow Expectations+ Practices High Reliability Training.Patient/Family Relations+ Responds to the uniqueness of the patient, creating a supportive environment for the patient and the family.Equipment+ Identifies and reports equipment malfunctions.Operations+ Assists in organizing and maintaining daily operations of section.General+ Participates in departmental and hospital meetings.+ Completes all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.+ Complies with ETU.+ Complies with HIPAA regulations.+ Practices the 6 core values of the Hospital; excellence, innovation, communication, respect, teamwork and accountability.Professional Development+ Furthers professional education and maintains knowledge of current regulations and standards, policies and procedures.+ Maintains up-to-date licensure/certification/registration in departmental file.
