Internal Medicine opportunities: Watertown, NY Located 70 miles from Syracuse and 50 miles from Canadian border Details: - 2 Openings: Hospital Employed or Private Practice- Full-time- Permanent positions 1) Hospital Employed: Hospital employed positions for board certified (or actively in process) Internal Medicine physicians. This is a National Health Services Corp (NHSC) certified opportunity. Exclusive outpatient opportunity, OR inpatient and outpatient mix. Inpatient and outpatient mix would include a call of 1:8. Hospitalist Service provides a tuck-in service for new admissions during hours of 7:00pm-7:00am. PA and NP support. A base salary with WRVU compensation, educational loan repayment program, signing bonus and paid relocation are included in the recruitment package. Dual accredited Osteopathic and Allopathic FM and IM residency training programs provide teaching opportunities to interested providers 2) Private Practice: Join a group of 4 primary care physicians (and several APPs). This is an optional partnership track opportunity. It is a long-standing private practice setting located in the heart of downtown Watertown and has been organized as an exclusive outpatient model. There is a large panel of patients with a significant geriatric mix having great loyalty to the practice. A full benefit package with educational loan repayment options, signing bonus and paid relocation is offered. Board certification (or actively in process) is required. About the Hospital: - 290-hospital beds; medical staff of 180 physicians representing 42 specialties- Largest community-based hospital in Northern New York- Committed to meeting the healthcare needs of the residents living in Northern New York- Newly constructed (2018) Cancer Center a state of the art comprehensive cancer center, soon to affiliate with Roswell Park Care Network- Newly added hospital wing for obstetrical and children's inpatient care (2019)- Construction for new service line: Women's Wellness and Breast Care outpatient services (2019)- Not-for profit, not affiliated with larger system, financially stable- Committed to providing outstanding patient care and support Location: Watertown, itself, is a small city with big city amenities.
