**Overview**

As our **Echo Technologist II** at St. Joseph Health, you will help the Cardiologist in utilizing extensive knowledge of imaging techniques to successfully diagnose and treat the patient's condition, ensuring optimal care and outcomes.

**Responsibilities**

+ Operates echocardiography equipment, capturing detailed cardiac images.

+ Communicates effectively with patients, families, and internal stakeholders.

+ Utilizes innovative customer service techniques for a positive patient experience.

+ Provides accurate preliminary diagnostic reports to physicians.

+ Plans and schedules work, ensuring proper distribution of assignments and resources.

**Qualifications**

**Required Education and Experience**

+ Education: completion of Sonography Program

+ Experience: 2 years echo experience

**Required Licensure and Certifications**

+ Active certification by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)

+ or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer

+ or Registered Vascular Sonographer.

**Pay Range**

$26.38 - $38.26 /hour
