Join our team where you can make a difference in people's lives as a Cardiovascular ICU Registered Nurse Our 15-bed ICU specializes in caring for patients undergoing all types of open-heart surgery or requiring ECMO and LVAD support. Our unit is excited to be launching the new Beth Israel Lahey Health Heart Transplant Program in 2023, based at BIDMC. We recently moved into the beautiful new Klarman building complete with a healing garden.

As a professional registered nurse, you will utilize your nursing process and skills to directly care for patients and families, and coordinate care with other health professionals. You'll assess patient needs, formulate a care plan, and implement and evaluate care, while also identifying necessary resources. Alongside all of this, you'll maintain and communicate trust and respect with your patients and families.

  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required
  • Baccalaureate degree in Nursing strongly preferred
  • 1-3 years related work experience required
  • Active Registered Nurse license required
  • American Heart Association - Basic Life support Certificate required
