Unless specifically stated otherwise, this role is "On-Site" at the location detailed in the job post.We are seeking an experienced Electrician / Electrical Installer to join our federal team based at Fort Stewart and the Hunter Army Airfield location near Savannah, GA (military experience encouraged, but not required) supporting long-term energy efficiency and sustainability projects, primarily related to HVAC, HVAC controls (DDC controls), BAS, metering, electrical and utilities systems.As part of a Fortune 500 company, Johnson Controls Federal Systems (JCFS) is a specialized team serving as a trusted partner to the federal government. Negotiable based on experienceCompany vehicle: YesShift: Primarily first shift/day shift hours, Monday-FridayBenefits: Eligible for benefits on first day of employmentVacation: 3 weeks of paid vacation, 5 sick days, 3 floating holidays, and 10 standard holidays per calendar year (6.5 weeks of paid time of in total)Travel Required: None, all work is based at this location.As an Electrical Installer, you will:Perform routine installation and checkout on a variety of electrical systems utilizing codes, company procedures, schematics, and/or engineering drawingsInstalls raceways, cables and wiring to meet local or national codes, standards and customer system requirements.Mounts and terminates controls equipment as needed.May assist sales with electrical estimates, including walking retrofit projects.Checks out wiring and terminations with test instruments as neededAssists with paperwork, including but not limited to time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation. Provides feedback to engineering team on changes and keeps as-built drawings currentAdheres to Johnson Controls safety programs and policiesPerforms other related duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:Electrical apprenticeship or formal training in electrical installation techniques.Demonstrated ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and/or engineering drawings.Possesses working knowledge of local electrical codes.Experienced in scope determination of installation materials.Able to work independently.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working with electrical systems for HVAC equipment or control systemsPreferred Education:Electrical apprenticeshipPossesses Journeyman or Master Electrician level licensureQualificationsQualificationsQualifications
