Position: Industrial Electrician

Location: Danville, VA

Description: This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing industrial manufacturer in the Danville area with plenty of OT opportunities This person should have a strong background in industrial electrical work and will be responsible for troubleshooting PLCs, rewiring controls, motors and drives to help maintain and repair equipment as needed throughout the facility. The team needs someone that has experience in an industrial manufacturing environment and has knowledge of control circuits as well as the ability to tug and trace wires from end to end without drawings. You will be in a non-climate controlled environment with some indoor and outdoor requirements and must be physically capable to walk, crawl, stand, sit, kneel, bend, and climb in tight spaces.

Job Requirements

Details:

- High School or GED required. Degree from electrical school preferred

- 7+ years electrical experience required

- ABB and Siemens PLC experience required

- Industrial manufacturing experience required

- Must be open to the environment and willing to broaden their skillset
