We are connected by our mission - partnering and healing for a healthy future - and dedicated to the health and well-being of the communities we serve.FTE: _1.0, Shift: _days, Schedule: _WeeklyPosition SummaryThe Certified Prosthetist Orthotist functions as an essential member of an interdisciplinary orthotic team, to provide the highest clinical standard of care to patients with disabling conditions of the limbs and spine and/or partial or total absence of a limb to the highest quality standards by providing orthotic or prosthetic devices that meet maximum fit, function, cosmetics and workmanship. The Certified Prosthetist Orthotist provides consultation, evaluation, casting, measurement and fitting of orthotic and prosthetic devices, and may design and construct/fabricate orthotics /prosthetics and/or supervise others constructing the devices. The Certified Prosthetist Orthotist monitors processes to ensure the accurate application of prescriptions, documentation and billing codes to maintain compliance with regulations related to delivery of orthotic and prosthetic devices. Additional responsibilities may include; supervision of modification and repair of orthotic and prosthetic devices.Requirements* Bachelor of Science or Master's Degree with a certification in orthotic's and prosthetics* Certification from the American Board for the Orthotic and Prosthetic Appliance Industry (ABC) required* Current Licensure by the state of Washington as a Certified Prosthetist Orthotist* Minimum three (3) years recent orthotic and prosthetic experience* Minimum two (2) years experience in pediatricsOur ValuesAs a MultiCare employee, we'll rely on you to reflect our core values of Respect, Integrity, Stewardship, Excellence, Collaboration and Kindness. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $36.18 - $52.06 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
