  • Full Time, Temporary Assignment (3-4 months)

What youll be doing

This position will conduct training related to the safe operations of CMVs.

You will be responsible for

  • Conducting CMV Entry Level Driving Training (ELDT) and other CMV safety-related training.
  • Assist with implementing and managing citywide CMV safety programs.
  • Assist in developing procedures and guidelines.
  • Monitor OSHA, DOT, and other governmental regulations related to CMV safety, including DOT FMCSA and PHMSA regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What skills & experience youll bring to us

  • Any combination of training, education, and experience equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelors Degree in Safety or Risk Management or closely related field.
  • Experience (3-5 years) operating a Class A commercial motor vehicle.
  • Experience (1-3 years) with DOT or OSHA regulation compliance training or facilitating CMV classroom and/or behind the wheel training.
  • Experience evaluating and implementing general safety training programs.
  • Must possess a valid Arizona Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with Tanker endorsement and without air brake restrictions.
