R&D Technician Compensation:

$28.00-$36.00/hour (depending on experience level) Type:

Life Sciences Responsibilities Contribute to the future success of medical devices by optimizing and streamlining the production process Perform daily tasks under close verbal direction of lead engineer Solder thin wires (28-42 gauge) under a microscope Provide input for the development of engineering protocols and verification processes Document assembly procedures while collaborating with engineers and technicians, promoting knowledge transfer and team success Meticulously follow instructions and best-practices for the assembly and testing of engineering prototypes, documenting and reporting results Assist in development of detailed instructions for the upcoming production and assembly of devices Complete assigned duties while communicating challenges and proposing ideas for process improvement Qualifications: Minimum of High School diploma, Associate of Science degree or equivalent work experience is preferred Exceptional manual dexterity for assembling small components, must be able to manually solder wires under a microscope Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be able to perform tasks based on verbal instructions in an innovative environment (without existing technical or visual references) Ability to inspect components using metrology equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and vision systems Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively Ability to work under a microscope for extended periods of time Eagerness to collaborate and ambition to grow and learn from others in an ever-changing environment
