As a Medical Technologist, you will play a crucial role in delivering accurate and timely diagnostic information, contributing to the well-being of our patients and the advancement of medical science. This is a permanent position with this wonderful health system.Responsibilities:1. Clinical Testing: Perform a variety of clinical laboratory tests, including but not limited to chemistry, hematology, microbiology, serology, and urinalysis, following established protocols and quality control procedures.2. Sample Collection: Collect patient specimens, ensuring proper labeling, handling, and storage to maintain sample integrity.3. Quality Control: Monitor and maintain quality control programs to ensure accurate and reliable test results.4. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment and instruments to ensure optimal performance.5. Data Analysis: Analyze test results, maintain accurate records, and report findings to healthcare providers in a timely manner.6. Compliance: Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards, including HIPAA, CLIA, and OSHA, to ensure a safe and compliant laboratory environment.7. Continuous Learning: Stay current with advancements in medical technology and laboratory procedures through ongoing education and training.8. Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals, physicians, nurses, and other laboratory staff to provide seamless patient care.Qualifications:•Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology•ACSP or NCA certification preferred.•Prior Experience in Clinical Laboratory is required.•Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.•Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced healthcare environment.•Effective communication and interpersonal skills.•Knowledge of laboratory information systems (LIS) and laboratory automation is a plus.Compensation: $27.00 - $34.00 per hour About UsWe're more than Software Company with a creative side.
