Maintenance Manager

The Maintenance Manager will oversee a variety of functions within the Maintenance Department including the development and implementation of processes to minimize mechanical downtime and optimize preventative maintenance techniques. The Maintenance Manager will also work with/manage contractors/vendors working with the maintenance department. The Maintenance Manager will ensure efficient operation and cost effective repair of equipment and infrastructure. Due to the dynamic nature of our business, duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.

- 4 year Technical degree or equivalent
- Certifications not required; however, certificates in the following areas are valuable: Government Approvals Electrical, Boiler, Hydraulics, Chemical Handling, Programming, OSHA, Welding, Wastewater Treatment
- 10 years' experience in any three (3) of the major areas listed below in a plant environment: Facilities Management, Equipment Maintenance, Engineering, Project Leadership, Preventative Maintenance
- Computer proficiency - Microsoft Word, Excel, AutoCAD, & AutoCAM preferred
- Electrical skills - knowledge of industrial electricity, Power Plant Administration
- Mechanical skills - knowledge/ability in industrial mechanics
- Welding skills
- Knowledge of Hydraulic & Pneumatic systems

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
- Sitting- to complete a task at lower levels
