We currently have an opening in our Knoxville location for a parts sales manager position.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**

* Responsible for the overall management of Outside Parts Sales and Inside Parts Sales staff

* Responsible for managing, monitoring and training all outside sales staff to be a profitable, productive and effective sales force in the market area of responsibility

* Work to motivate all parts personnel inclusive of Parts Operations Manager to provide high levels of customer service

* Responsible for facilitating positive and productive interaction between the sales staff and the remainder of the parts department personnel

* Responsible for the preparation of sales strategies, assignment of territories and the development of marketing plans for the parts department

* Responsible for active involvement with day to day sales efforts and sales staff

* Work cohesively with the Parts Operations Manager to ensure profit and efficiency of the department

* Responsible for overall customer service relative to both internal and external customers

* Responsible for fostering cohesion between the parts department and other dealership departments

* Perform all other duties as assigned

**QUALIFICATIONS STANDARDS**

**Education**

A high school diploma and/or GED required. Combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skill and abilities. Training in a Dealership environment preferred.

**Experience**

Minimum of five years experience in a Dealership and three years in management preferred.

**Licenses or Certificates**

A valid drivers license is required. Certification of ability to operate a forklift is required.
