Location: Medwiz Pharmacy, Bardonia, NYJob Type: FTMonday - Friday - 3pm -11:30pmWeekends Rotations: 9am - 7pm Job Description:We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Pharmacy Front Tech to join our team. As a Pharmacy Front Tech, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy by providing exceptional customer service and supporting the pharmacists and pharmacy staff. Your responsibilities will include:Responsibilities:Customer Service:Greet customers and provide a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.Answer customer inquiries, both in person and over the phone, and provide information regarding prescriptions and product availability.Address customer concerns and resolve issues in a professional and empathetic manner.Prescription Handling:Assist pharmacists in processing and filling prescriptions accurately.Verify prescription information, insurance coverage, and patient details.Prepare prescription labels and ensure correct medication dispensing.Inventory Management:Monitor and maintain stock levels of non-prescription products, including ordering and restocking as needed.Conduct periodic inventory checks and report discrepancies to the pharmacy manager.Administrative Duties:Maintain and update patient records and prescription files in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.File and organize paperwork, including prescription documentation and inventory records.Compliance:Adhere to all state and federal pharmacy regulations and protocols.Maintain patient confidentiality and protect sensitive information.Cleanliness and Organization:Keep the pharmacy area clean, organized, and well-stocked.Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for both staff and customers.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.State pharmacy technician certification is a plus.Previous experience as a Pharmacy Front Tech or similar role is preferred.Strong customer service skills with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Attention to detail and accuracy in prescription processing.Knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and pharmacy software systems.Ability to handle cash and perform basic math calculations.Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.Join our pharmacy team and contribute to the health and well-being of our community.
