Central Maine Healthcare is seeking a CT Technologist to join our highly skilled imaging team at Central Maine Medical Center

The CT Technologist performs a variety of routine and specialized CAT scan imaging procedures. Responsible for patient safety protocols. Functions as one of the first line interfaces with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in CQI Activities.

This is a per diem, position with flexible schedules and competitive hourly rates

Education and Experience:1. Prefer 1 or more years of radiologic/imaging and/or CT Scanning experience2. Prefer CT Scanning Certification3. Required -Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required- and/or Nuclear Medicine Technologist with a current ARRT or NMTCB Certification in Computed Tomography4. Current or within 1 month of hire American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BCLS certification. Re-certification of existing employees is due within 1 month of expiration date.5. Knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.6. Possesses a high level of knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.7. Proficiency with CT Scanning equipment, hardware and software (GE, Siemens, Phillips, and Toshiba preferred.
