We are currently seeking a highly motivated Territory Manager to join our team and drive sales of our wholesale retail goods in Northern Florida and Southern Georgia. This is a smaller territory with room for growth A such, we expect this territory will take 20-25 hours/week to service.

As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between retailers and manufacturers by managing existing accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets in your assigned region.

In this role your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow existing customer base and identify new business opportunities
  • Working in the field calling on existing accounts and prospecting for new business
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, acting as the primary point of contact for all sales-related activities
  • Taking orders and merchandising for assigned retailer accounts within your specified territory
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to inform sales strategy and identify new opportunities for growth
  • Face to face sales and closing deals
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Maintaining accurate records of contacts and visits using CRM software
  • Acquiring product knowledge through product training and competitive analysis
  • Meet or exceed sales targets on a regular basis

Qualified candidates will possess:
  • 3+ years of outside sales experience (preferably relating to wholesale retail industry)
  • Demonstrated sales accomplishments
  • Exceptional communication skills, both face to face and over the phone
  • A track record of success in building new business relationships
  • Highly motivated, with the ability to work independently to achieve ambitious sales targets
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of the publishers, gift, greeting card, stationery, home fragrance, and personal accessory markets a plus.
  • Positive attitude
  • Basic technical ability with knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM
