Handyman / Carpenter

Our company is growing and we pride ourselves in working with quality painting crews and handymen / craftsman We are in need of a skilled craftsman to do wood repair on homes prior to our paint crews arriving. The ideal candidates are professionals with the highest standards with experience in residential wood repair. They must be physically able to perform the duties of the job, which includes performing repetitive movements, standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, climbing stairs and ladders, etc. We aim to keep our subcontractors busy and develop a lasting business relationshipQUALIFICATIONSCarpentry skills and knowledge of carpentry tools and equipmentMust have all tools - miter saw, at least 32' ladder, circular saw, nail gun for sidingStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExceptional customer service skillsHighly organized and self-motivatedQuality conscious and detail-orientedUnrestricted driver's license and clean driving recordLiability insurance required; worker's comp strongly preferredMust be willing to undergo and pass a criminal background checkEXAMPLE PROJECTS:Remove and install window frames and brick mouldingRepair rotten soffits with hardi-boardsRemove and repair rotten door jambsRepair rotten fascia boards behind guttersInstall Crown Moulding and baseboardsHang sheetrock, mud and tape - prep prior to paintingRemove rotten trim boards on chimneys and install new onesCompensation: $25 / hour Behind every excellent paint job, are the people who get to know the homeowner, help craft the design, improve the look and feel and even keep the project moving along.
