THE JOB:

It is the primary responsibility of the Floral Supervisor to oversee the daily operation of the Floral department, as well as assist the Manager with other duties.

THE DAY TO DAY:

• Confer with clients regarding price and type of arrangement desired and the date, time, and place of delivery.
• Assist in the design and creation of floral arrangements and products for various events.
• Select and order all flora and foliage for arrangements.
• Supervise the decoration, delivery, setup and teardown of parties, weddings, events, and other special occasions.
• Assign daily orders received from guests to Floral staff for creation and delivery
• Oversee the department revenue and monthly financials, including, producing department and vendor invoices and contracts
• Supervise and coordinate all functions of Floral employees; approve various administrative tasks and requests, including work schedules, time-off requests and all payroll functions.
• Manage the Human Resources responsibilities for the department to include: hiring/firing, training, issuing discipline to employee, and ensure the proper documentation of all actions taken.

• Has a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Has two (2) years of Floral experience.
• Able to lead and mentor a team.
• Can work varied shifts, including holidays.
