This position is part time as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Greets patients and prepares for radiologic procedures. Protects patient, self, and other staff from radiation hazards and complies with safety standards.
  • Takes X-rays including setting up and operating radiographic equipment while following procedures for patient safety. Selects proper ionizing factors for radiologic diagnosis. Adjusts/sets radiologic controls . Positions patient for X-ray of specific parts of patient's body as requested by physicians. Processes film and checks X-ray for clarity. Distributes X-ray to appropriate medical staff.
  • Maintains records including patient records, log books, and monthly records. Performs quantity and quality control checks to ensure X-ray unit meets standards required.
  • Cleans and maintains radiographic equipment. Maintains and orders radiographic supplies and films.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

Education: Associate's degree in radiological technology. ARRT certification required. Post-primary certification in CT and/or MRI preferred.
Experience: One year experience preferred. WV Medical Imaging License required. CPR certification required.
