Many of our rooms have ceiling lifts. Our teams are supported by respiratory therapy, physical and occupational therapy, pharmacy on the units, case management on the units, and a team of engaged physicians. Come join our amazing critical care team. **Job Summary** This 32 bed telemetry monitored unit houses PCU level of care with some medical/telemetry overflow as well. This is our primary stroke unit that also manages respiratory and cardiac patients. This unit is staffed at a 1:3-4 patient ratio consistent with national standards of care. **Essential Duties** + Provides continuous cardiac monitoring, arrhythmia recognition and intervention. + Initiates and titrates multiple, complex cardiac related infusions at higher doses. + Manages intubated/mechanically ventilated patients. + Manages patients with acute neurological/neurosurgical events. + Manages acute trauma patients. **Qualifications** **Job Requirements** + Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred. + Previous PCU or ICU experience preferred. + Previous Emergency room experience also considered + Current licensure as a Registered Nurse issued by the Washington State Board of Nursing. + Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS Certification. + Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements. + Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or attainment within six months of hire. + CCRN/Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse (CNRN) preferred. **Pay Range** $40.80 - $68.92 /hour We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
