ICU Registered Nurse

Join our team as a Rapid Response Travel ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Waterbury, CT. We are seeking an experienced RN with a current license, at least one year of recent acute care experience, and current BLS/ACLS certification.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications and monitor patients for reactions or side effects.
  • Maintain detailed reports and records.
  • Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
  • Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
  • Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.

Requirements:

  • Current RN license.
  • Minimum one (1) year recent acute care experience.
  • Current BLS/ACLS certification.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Familiarity with medical software and equipment.
  • Ability to build rapport with patients.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to listen and understand information and ideas quickly.
