Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a NoSQL MongoDB Administrator. The MongoDB Administrator will be responsible for day-to-day administration and maintenance of MongoDB environments. This includes installation, configuration, monitoring, backup and recovery, security management, performance optimization, and troubleshooting. The MongoDB Administrator will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the availability, integrity, and performance of MongoDB databases.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in MongoDB administration
  • Knowledge of NoSQL database concepts and best practices
  • Experience in database installation, configuration, and maintenance
  • Ability to monitor and optimize database performance
  • Experience in backup and recovery strategies
  • Knowledge of database security and access control
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Experience with other database technologies (e.g., SQL databases) is a plus
  • Certifications in MongoDB or other relevant technologies are a plus
