Bilingual Registered Nurse for Surgical Specialty Unit

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to work in our Surgical Specialty Unit. As a bilingual RN, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to patients in line with clinical specialty. You will work within our hospital policies, ensure patient safety, and adhere to patient-centered care. A minimum of 1 year of related experience is required.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering safe direct care to an assigned group of patients
  • Working in collaboration with the healthcare team, implementing and documenting individualized care plans
  • Administering medication, including IV medication, via the Seven Rights
  • Maintaining a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients/families
  • Enhancing professional growth and development through participation in educational programs

Your qualifications:

  • Graduate of a nationally accredited nursing program
  • 1 year of directly related experience
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, and/or Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
  • RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM

Physical conditions:

  • Heavy Work: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects or people. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Medium Work.
