You will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to patients recovering from cardiac events and other critical conditions requiring close monitoring.Responsibilities:Assess, monitor, and document the condition of patients in the telemetry unit, including vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and pain levels.Interpret data from telemetry equipment, including electrocardiograms (ECGs).Identify and report any changes in a patient's condition that might indicate a potential complication.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.Educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment plan, and discharge instructions.Collaborate effectively with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.Maintain a clean and safe patient environment.Document all nursing care activities in the electronic medical record (EMR).Qualifications and Credentials:Active and unrestricted Washington State RN licenseMinimum of 1 year of experience in a telemetry or critical care unitStrong clinical skills in assessment, monitoring, and documentationExcellent communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skillsAbility to prioritize effectively and work independently in a fast-paced environmentACLS and BLS certifications requiredExperience with trauma patients a plusWhy Choose Virtus Healthcare Staffing?Competitive salary and benefits packageOpportunity to work at a leading Level II Trauma CenterSupportive and collaborative work environmentCommitment to professional developmentIf you are a highly motivated and compassionate RN who thrives in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply#J-18808-Ljbffr
