**Material Handler / Saw Operator**
for WITTENSTEIN Inc. at Bartlett, IL (USA)
**Responsibilities**
Primary purpose of this position is to machine parts according to blueprints, established procedures and guidelines within time frames.
* Support CNC Machinists
* Support Assembly Operators
* Run machine/saw
* Maintain the machine/saw according the manual and maintenance sheet
* Empty machining chip bins
* Load scrap totes
* Unload & put away material deliveries
* Needle gears while saw is running
* Report through the ERP system time and quantities
* Issue material through ERP system
* Communicate within the team effectively
* Assemble/Disassemble warehouse shelving, assembly lines and fixtures.
* Sweep and pickup work areas after completion of the work order
**Qualifications**
* Able to use forklifts and lift trucks, valid lift truck license
* High School Diploma or General Education Development certificate (GED) is required.
* Read blueprints
* Effectively work with forms, department procedures and objectives
* Use measuring equipment and fixtures
* Use Hand tools for set up and finishing parts
Knowledge of the metric system* Ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally
* Detail oriented
* Demonstrates sense of urgency
