Providence Place of Pottsville is seeking to recruit a compassionate individual to be the Full Time Lead Driver. The Lead Driver is responsible for safely transporting senior residents to and from physician appointments, as well as planning drop off and pick up times to ensure timely service. The Lead Driver also maintains regular scheduled maintenance upkeep on all vehicles used to transport residents, as well as, maintains the vehicles in a safe clean condition, staffing and other functions as assigned.

Hours: 7:30am-4:00pm - hours may vary depending on residents' appointments.

Physical Requirements:
  • Requires normal range vision, hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Must be capable of operating Providence Place vehicles safely.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to push/pull 100lbs.
  • Requires sitting, reaching, lifting, twisting, pushing, pulling, kneeling and bending.
Minimum Qualifications & Certifications:
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • No major traffic violations over the past 5 years.
  • Familiar with the general locale and roads in the service area.
  • CPR certification is desirable.
