This is an excellent opportunity for someone with no prior training in the field to start a rewarding career in healthcare administration.**Responsibilities:**1. **Training Program Participation:** - Engage in a comprehensive on-the-job training program to learn the fundamentals of medical billing and coding. - Attend workshops and seminars provided by the company to enhance knowledge and skills.2. **Data Entry and Record Management:** - Accurately enter and update patient information into the electronic health records system. - Learn to navigate and utilize billing software to input procedural and diagnostic codes.3. **Insurance Verification:** - Assist in verifying patient insurance coverage and processing insurance claims. - Work closely with insurance companies to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure timely reimbursement.4. **Documentation and Compliance:** - Learn and adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations and compliance standards. - Ensure accurate and complete documentation of medical records and billing information.5. **Communication:** - Collaborate with healthcare providers, administrative staff, and insurance professionals to facilitate effective communication. - Respond to inquiries from patients and internal stakeholders regarding billing and coding matters.**Qualifications:**- High school diploma or equivalent required.- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.- Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Willingness to undergo training and develop expertise in medical billing and coding.**Advancement Opportunities:**Successful completion of the training program may lead to advancement within the organization, including opportunities for continued education and certification in medical billing and coding.TAR Healthcare Solutions is an equal opportunity employer and encourages candidates from all backgrounds to apply.
