We're looking for qualified Certified Surgical Techs like you to join our Texas Health family.New CST graduates and LVNs "with scrub experience" are all welcome to apply***In addition to the usual CST duties, the job in L&D also requires*** :setting up and breaking down vaginal delivery carts, stocking ORs and L&D rooms, transporting instruments to Sterile Processing for sterilization, helping reposition patients, assisting with vaginal deliveries if requested by providers, ordering supplies, putting away stock for the unit, and serving as unit secretary as needed (answer phones, intercom, minimal computer work, printing labels and baby bracelets, putting together papers and charts), and doing other odd jobs to assist the nursing staff (for example: helping transport patients to OR or to rooms, bringing food/drinks to patients, etc.).Position HighlightsWork location: Texas Health Ft. Delivery volume can range from 275 -300 per month.Work hours: Part-time Nights 6:30p - 7a (12 hour) shifts with varying days of the weekTexas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth is a 726-bed, Magnet-designated regional referral center that has served the residents of Tarrant County and surroundings communities since 1930.
