Job Details:Job Summary: The Neurodiagnostic Tech functions as a resource person to physicians and their staff, family members and hospital staff. Prepare patients and performs long term, and routine electroencephalograms bed side, and in ICU settings for adults, pediatrics, and neonates. Responsibilities: Functions as a resource person to physicians and their staff, family members and hospital staff Prepares patient and performs: LTM/Routine EEGs, and Sleep studies. Nerve conduction and Evoked potential experience is preferred. Edit and prepare test for reading by a Physician Reports findings or concerns to reading physician for prompt interpretation Employee will demonstrate customer service in all interaction, that is compassionate, courteous, friendly, non-judgmental and demonstrate a respect for privacy Cleans and maintains equipment (EEG machine and accessories) Use specific protocol for patient electrodes placement, maintenance and removal Some office responsibilities such as billing, computer and telephone skills Qualifications/Requirements: Experience: Minimum 2-year experience, preferred. Education: Associate degree in Electroneurodiagnostic technology or equivalent program, required. Licenses / Certifications: License of a polysomnography program, prefered. Current BLS CPR for Healthcare Provider or Professional certification, required. Sleep certification PSGT, preferred. ABRET registration (R. EEG T.), preferred. Other: Must be able to communicate with and perform tests on patients of all ages, pediatric to adult and staff Special Requirements: TCD experience is a plus About Us: WMCHealthWorx
