Sigma Healthcare team is currently looking for an Echo Technologist to work onsite in DeRidder.

EMR Used: Meditech
Shift: Days M-F; some call

Job Duties:
  • Performs and processes echocardiographic examinations including two-dimensional, three dimensional, M-mode, Doppler, and special procedures and exercise techniques.
  • Performs emergency procedures when necessary; transports equipment and patients.
  • Assists with special procedures including transesophageal echocardiography, intraoperative echocardiography, pericardiocentesis, and contrast echocardiography.
  • Analyzes and files echocardiographic data utilizing digital computer analysis systems.
  • Assists in developing and maintaining internal training programs and in technical instruction of echocardiographic techniques.
Required skills and minimum years of experience:
  • Experience performing Echocardiograms and Stress Tests required.
  • Must be ARDMS RDCS or CCI - RCS certified.
  • Some call required.
  • Average around 120 studies per month.
  • Equipment: Client Vivid.
