Our employees are largely security officers, unarmed and armed, concierge officers, special event security, and trained and licensed personnel who work in retail, logistics, corporate, education and other industries and settings.Emergency medical technicians (EMTs) respond to medical emergencies and deliver patient care, support, and evaluation in a pre-hospital setting, like on scene and during transport to the hospital. This generally includes assessing the patient, determining the proper emergency care, and administering treatment. EMTs also help with transporting patients safely between hospitals and care facilities.Examine and evaluate patients to determine necessary careProvide patients with emergency response and care by utilizing appropriate techniques and equipmentPerformance of occupational health duties such as drug screens, hearing tests, fit tests, and physicals.Document patient information, condition, and treatmentMaintain patient confidentiality and perform all care with respect for patient rightsWork within and pursuant to OSHA policiesTransport patients in accordance with outlined policies and proceduresMaintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patientsOperate and drive ambulance if necessary in conjunction with applicable safety policies and lawsQualifications for EMTHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) requiredCurrent EMT certification/license in the state of practiceCurrent CPR certificationMust possess a valid driver's license in the state of practice1 year of experience in an emergency care setting preferredAbility to bend, pull, push, and lift 50 pounds or moreAbility to follow oral and written instructionsDemonstrated ability to implement clinical care in accordance with outlined policies and proceduresAbility to exercise sound judgment while working in a stressful environmentResponsibilities for EMTWe are hiring Emergency Medical Technicians.RequirementsDescriptionDescriptionMetro One is the nation's premier Loss Prevention and Security Organization, with more than 100 National Clients and over 5,000 security personnel.
