Our team comprises four pediatricians, three Nurse Practitioners, two Care Coordinators, a Behavioral Health Specialist, and various specialists, all dedicated to delivering exceptional care. As part of the Vermont Child Health Improvement Program, NVRH is committed to advancing community health and wellness throughout the Northeast Kingdom. Location and Lifestyle: NVRH is located in St. Johnsbury in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. We are a community, not-for-profit, acute care, critical access hospital. NVRH is one of two Vermont hospitals designated as Baby Friendly by the United Nations. The organization provides primary and preventive care, surgical and specialty services, inpatient and outpatient care and 24-hour, physician-staffed emergency services. NVRH serves the health needs for over 30,000 people in Caledonia and southern Essex Counties in Vermont and employs over 700 dedicated staff. Position Details: Full-time position, with 80 hours per pay period (four 10-hour shifts per week) On-call rotation: 1:4 Call responsibilities include answering patient phone calls, attending C-Sections/high risk deliveries, emergency room consultations and inpatient pediatric care as needed.
