Responsibilities: Dispenses prescriptions within the pharmacyRetrieves medication from the shelf, counts medication, and labels container under direct supervision of Pharmacist on dutyPerforms data entry, including patient demographics, medication information and directions on patient profile in computerized databaseReceives written prescriptions from patients and verifies information on prescription is completeProcesses confidential information and handles such information in a professional manner in accordance with both state and federal lawsRequirements:Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification preferredCPR certification required and must be maintainedHigh School diploma or equivalentCounting accuracy with attention to detailAbility to type 30 wpmProficient with computers and comfortable learning new programsExceptional attention to detail and follow-throughSuperb organizational skillsStrong influencing skillsSelf-starter with the ability to work proactively and take initiativeResults-oriented; creative and persistent in accomplishing tasksSolutions-driven with a systems orientationHighly responsive, timely, accurate and thorough in follow-up and follow-throughHighly flexible, positive and results-oriented attitudeExcellent in managing shifting priorities and timelinesOutstanding project and time-management skillsKnowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, comfortable using document management softwareProficiency in Adobe and database managementExcellent oral and written communication skillsExcellent judgment and discretionHourly Rate:$17 - $18 an hour based on a full-time, 40 hour work week.Individual compensation is based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other position related components.Why Neighborhood?There are many fantastic benefits to a career at Neighborhood.
