Scrub Technician

POSITION SUMMARY: Maintains and prepares operating rooms for surgery, using appropriate and proper aseptic techniques to prevent contamination and infection. Will be responsible for proving technical services and assists by supplying members with proper instruments, sutures, etc., during an operation or endoscopy procedures as assigned or directed.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepares surgical rooms with the appropriate instruments, sutures, supplies, and equipmentAssists surgical team during operative and endoscopic procedures in an efficient mannerOpens sterile supplies and sets up for proceduresProvides proper dressings or drapes to the patients for their surgical procedureFollows proper procedure for preparation for surgical procedures to ensure a proper sterile environment around the patient and equipmentMaintains supply of fluids as need during surgical proceduresCleans and restocks operating rooms as neededCooperates with other personnel to achieve the surgical department objectives and maintain good employee relationsEnhances professional grown through participation in educational programs, current literature and workshops RequirementsPRN position
