Job Description

As a Production Support Specialist at bank you will be able to make an impact with one of the most dynamic organizations in the Financial Services industry.

s a Knowledge Support Specialist you will coordinate production support activities for all major systems and related subsystems to ensure the integrity of computer generated data. In this critical role, you will summarize issues and communicate system capabilities or limitations.

Responsibilities of a Knowledge Support Specialist include:
You are well-versed in Information Technology platforms, software, and tools to enable or enhance knowledge management capabilities, including management and enforcement of the use of metadata, enabling data to be accessed, tagged, and researched regardless of physical location, media, source, owner, or other defining characteristics. A key outcome of this effort will be assisting and educating users on authoritative data sources, data services, and presentation tools to meet mission objectives.
Understand production issues while documenting and following up on all shift turnover issues
Monitoring the library to ensure proper generation of data files are available for production runs
Participating in projects and ensuring support requirements are met prior to production rollout - Contributing to job scheduling and report distribution as well as data center standards development and enforcement
Monitoring system capacity and/or performance issues

Basic Qualifications:
ssociates Degree or military experience
2 years of experience in knowledge management
2 years of experience in Application Technical Support
2 years of experience in Network Support
2 years of experience in Field Computer Technician
2 year of experience in Reporting and Analysis

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
MCSE, MCSA, ITIL Certification, Basic Unix, Basic SQL
5 years of experience in knowledge management
2 years of experience in Application Technical Support
5 Years of experience in Network Support
5 years
