Job DescriptionESSENTIAL DUTIES: Assist the Chiropractors in treating of their patients. Massage therapy as indicated from Chiropractor. Manual stretching techniques including Active release Therapy. Proper positioning on traction tables. Demonstrate and instruct patients on exercise programs. Use of modalities including ultrasound, and electrical stimulation, and laser therapy. Graston treatments and Kinesio taping. Proper procedures and training available in house. Attending in services and staff meetings. Stocking the exam room, cleaning equipment and laundry.NOTE: The above stated duties are intended to outline those functions typically performed by individuals assigned to this classification. This description of duties is not intended to be all-inclusive or to limit the discretionary authority of supervisors to assign other tasks of similar nature or level of responsibility.QUALIFICATIONSEducation: High school diploma or GED Licensed in massage therapyExperience: Previous experience in the medical field is preferred, but not required. Basic knowledge of the use and operation of general office equipment. Working with the public in a courteous and professional manner.Skills: Ability to maintain a positive attitude and provide great customer service under stressful situations. Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and pleasant manner in both verbal and written form. Ability to multi-task. Ability to adapt quickly to change. Ability to work both independently and with co-workers. Ability to use and manage time efficiently. Ability to follow the direction of supervisory personnel.
