Community Health Care is looking for an in office EHR Software Specialist to provides technical support to EHR (electronic health record) system users via phone, remote access, and/or in-person visits. Responsibilities:

  • Provides technical support to EHR (electronic health record) system users via phone, remote access, and/or in-person visits.
  • Provides support to end users of EHR systems by researching and troubleshooting issues.
  • Records all support requests and solutions in ticketing software and communicates resolution to the end user.
  • Assists with on-boarding process, orientation, training, and education of newly hired staff.
  • Provides EMR training in small groups by role for expanded training; provide one-on-one training as necessary.
  • Develops workflow-related scenarios throughout the EMR training/implementation to improve efficiencies.
  • Execute touch points/follow-up with employees/physicians after initial EMR training.
  • Assist in developing instructor led classes and online training material for end users.
  • Performs audits of clinical workflows to ensure proper use of EHR systems.
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary group to develop and guide the successful implementation of operational or clinical programs, as it relates to EMR software program and optimizing patient care.
  • Assist with software upgrades, testing, issue identification and resolution, and education for new software releases.
  • Supports clinical improvement process and works to maximize staff efficiency to ensure clinical documentation competency for all staff.
  • Collaborate with other department leads (Managers/Directors) as it relates to EMR software.
  • Participation in continuing education events of EMR software systems; additional training as needed.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate as a team
  • Effective communication skills
  • Familiarity with eClinicalWorks (eCW), Office 365, a plus
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
