Cranbury, NJ, United States Full Time Permanent req75444 JOB DESCRIPTION Kuehne + Nagel is looking for a Shipping/Receiving Clerk who is dependable, a team player, and enjoys working in a fast paced environment** Your Role**

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for ensuring that all shipping and receiving documents and functions are completed accurately and on time. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk communicates with customers and transportation companies and develops and maintains inbound and outbound freight schedules.** Your Responsibilities**

Works with Operations Manager and Supervisors to schedule inbound and outbound freight to comply with warehouse operations and operational capacities.

Navigate around SAP to retrieve inbound and outbound shipment data

Drops orders to warehouse floor for picking/packing

Ensures KN QSHE guidelines are followed for both inbound and outbound freight movements

Communicate with carriers and the customer on a daily basis to ensure a smooth inbound/outbound operation is maintained and inline with Service KPIs.

Ensure proper labels been applied before put-away and shipping.

Ensure exceptional security checks are completed at dock doors and during inbound/outbound processes.

Comply with OSHA and MSDS Standards.

Ensure the accuracy of all receiving and shipping documents.

Gather and maintain all data and records relative to shipping and receiving activities Assure that receiving counts match packing lists and purchase orders

Assist in resolving discrepancies with warehouse team.

Collect all documentation for inbound & outbound freight and route to the proper record-keeping unit.

Update the onsite TMS system in line with customer requirements/transportation providers.

** Your Skills and Experiences**

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of order entry systems

Previous customer service experience

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Ability to successfully communicate both verbal and written

Intermediate skills in MS Word and Excel

AS400 experience or any WMS experience helpful

Proficient Data Entry Skills

Ability to follow through and provide excellent customer service

Ability to efficiently solve problems

Ability to establish priorities and accomplish multiple tasks

Must be organized
