Our Respiratory Therapist reports to the CardioPulmonary/RT/Sleep Manager and supports Edgerton Hospital by:
- Providing direct patient care to cardiac and pulmonary rehab patients including various types of therapeutic exercise programs
- Providing total patient care including the evaluation and the establishment of a treatment plan
- Establishing treatment goals with an estimate of time to complete goals
- Documenting all relevant information and communication with patients, other personal, and physicians
- Providing direct patient care to patients having stress tests, EKG, holter or event monitor, and pulmonary function tests
- Valid respiratory care provider license in the State of Wisconsin
- CPR Certification
- ACLS Certification
- Minimum of two years' experience with telemetry, cardiac/pulmonary rehabilitation, pulmonary function or stress testing preferred
- Highly encouraged to be a member of the state and national rehabilitation association
