Stamford Hospital is seeking a Full-Time, Day Shift OB Surgical Technician to join our L&D Department.

The Labor & Delivery Tech will assist the surgical team by acting as the primary scrub person who handles instruments, supplies and other related equipment during surgical procedures. This individual will maintain a sterile environment under the direct supervision of the RN.

Schedule: Full-time Day Shift, 7am-8pm. 3 shifts per week, rotating weekends and holidays.

1) High School diploma or equivalent required

2) Graduate of a surgical technologist program or equivalent training

3) Certification as a Surgical Technologist highly preferred

4) BLS certification required
