Role Description

This is a full-time or part-time on-site role at Rollin' Paws Mobile Vet as an Associate Veterinarian. The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for performing physical examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries, prescribing and administering medication and vaccines, performing surgeries, and providing preventive care services to our animal patients. The Associate Veterinarian will also be responsible for maintaining accurate medical records and communicating with clients to educate them about their pet's condition and recommend treatment options.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent
  • State Veterinary Board License
  • Experience with small animals
  • Ability to interpret laboratory results and knowledge of medical and surgical protocols
  • Strong communicative and interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive and lasting client relationships
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • Experience with exotic pets is a plus
