SUMMARY
The Inventory Analyst is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining all procedures and protocols regarding proper inventory controls of machines, attachments and option kits. He/she is responsible to ensure and closely monitor sales trends and conduct analyses in order to maintain cost-effective inventory levels, satisfy customer requirements and minimize backorders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assess and monitor warehouse inventory transactions, work to keep appropriate and accurate inventories
Work closely with sales, procurement team and 3PL to plan for future material requirements and minimize any supply chain interruptions.
Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory, including but not limited to, end of month reconciliation.
Generate and report weekly inventory reports to the management, analyze root causes of inventory issues and provide resolutions
Supports and promotes continuous improvement activities and cost savings opportunities.
Responsible for all machine, attachment, option warehouses.
Assist implementing the MRP system and consider customer expectations and overall profit plan when optimizing planning processes, scheduling resources, and maintaining the proper balance of inventory while avoiding production/installation interruptions
Maintain inventory integrity and ensure accuracy in all related supply chain processes.
Monitors inventory levels very closely and resolves any issues that may become apparent.
Utilize BI tool and create reporting on inventory results.
Develop root causes and corrective actions for inventory that trends in the wrong direction.
Develop better processes and tools to improve inventory controls, accuracy, and accountability.
Manage inventory adjustments and transfers.
Develop and document inventory processes and policies.
Establish, monitor, and improve key performance metrics.
Plan and execute any inventory audit as required.

REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Science, Engineering, Finance or Business
Minimum five (5) years of experience in supply chain manufacturing environment or an equivalent type of job
Knowledge and experience in materials requirements planning systems, production planning, inventory control, and Procurement Strategies is a plus
Advanced proficient skills in MS Office and aptitude to learn other software systems and applications
