As a Host Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in providing our guests with an outstanding dining experience while managing employees and pace effectively. Responsibilities: Manage employees and pace of seating in the restaurant to ensure optimal performance and productivity. Oversee the host/hostess team, providing clear direction and guidance. Train new hosts/hostesses on company policies and procedures. Monitor customer flow and manage seating arrangements to maximize efficiency. Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any guest concerns or complaints. Collaborate with the management team to ensure seamless operations. Create and maintain a positive work environment, fostering teamwork and employee growth. Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members. Maintain a clean and organized host/hostess station at all times. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Qualifications: 1+ year experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant industry required. 1+ year in a host/hostess position preferred. 1+ year experience with OpenTable and/or other reservation platforms preferred but not required. Friday and Saturday afternoon/evening availability required. Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations with ease. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Proficient in using reservation and seating management software. Knowledge of food and beverage industry trends.
