Description

We are seeking a full-time Intake Specialist to join our team at our Sunset Hills location. We are interested in paralegals with experience, new paralegals who recently obtained their certification (or are working toward their certification), and anyone with a demonstrated interest in criminal law, with or without experience. Prior sales experience is especially helpful, including retail, as a server, or in a call center. A Paralegal Certificate is NOT required, but a passion for criminal defense and helping people IS.

Responsibilities

Intake Specialists are the first point of contact with the firm and the only opportunity to make a great first impression. Our Intake team answer calls and interview leads, acquire and record case details, obtain relevant documentation, schedule attorney consultations, and complete the sign-up process. The Intake Team must always be friendly, knowledgeable, and diligent as they work with leads to become clients.

The responsibilities for this position include the following:
• Receiving and responding to telephone calls, e-mail messages, text messages, online form submissions, and chatbot engagements
• Managing and utilizing our intake software, which is Lead Docket
• Drafting and sending Legal Services Agreements, Automatic Payment Authorization Forms, and Personal Guaranty Agreements
• Maintaining contact with pending leads
• Scheduling lead consultations with the attorneys
• Revising and improving the intake process
• Meeting with your team daily to review new policies, workflow, and priorities.
• Back-up responsibilities for other functions in the office, including Client Care and Client Onboarding
• General office support/administrative duties, as needed

Qualifications

The ideal person to fill this role will be an organized, responsible, honest self-starter, with a positive attitude, who is eager to learn and motivated to obtain the best possible outcomes for our clients. The is primarily a sales role, so you should be a "people person" who takes initiative.

Other requirements include:

• Excellent with computers and technology, including LeadDocket, Word, Excel, database software, and Outlook.
• Outstanding on the telephone
• Terrific data entry skills
• High attention to detail
• Professional demeanor and great people skills
• Good time management and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Ability to work well independently but more importantly as part of a team
• Ability to exercise flexibility, initiative, good judgment, and discretion
