Anesthesia Technician

Assists with the nursing care of the patients in the operating room. Function as a member of the OR team and assist with the maintenance of a clean and orderly environment. Provides anesthesia technical assistance. Cleans, assembles and restocks anesthesia materials, equipment and machines; assembles standardized kits. Assist with the induction, assembly of arterial lines and CVP lines. Maintains and sterilizes laryngoscope blades, difficult airway cart, LMA's and other equipment necessary for the anesthesia department. Education: High School graduate, GED or 3 years relevant experience required. Experience: Two years' experience in operating room required. Licenses/Certifications: BLS certification required.
