Holliday Rock, a large family owned Ready Mix, Asphalt and Aggregate producer in Southern California has an immediate opening to join our IT department. We are actively seeking a skilled and motivated Azure Infrastructure Specialist to join our dynamic team with a primary focus on maintaining, optimizing, and troubleshooting our Microsoft Azure environment. While some level of IT support is expected, the role emphasizes the expertise required for effective Azure infrastructure management. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in Azure cloud technologies and a passion for enhancing cloud-based solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain Azure infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and optimal performance.
• Manage virtual machines, storage accounts, networking components, and related resources in Azure.
• Assist in the optimization of Azure Active Directory including: user and group management, and identity and access policies.
• Implement monitoring solutions for Azure infrastructure to proactively identify and address issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems related to Azure services.

• Implement and adhere to security best practices for Azure environments.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies pertaining to information security.
• Create and maintain documentation for infrastructure configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting processes.
• Assistance of Administration of Microsoft 365 Services: SharePoint Online, Exchange, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive for Business, M365 Groups, and Power Platform.
• Participates in disaster planning, preparation, recovery, and testing as required.
• Provides after-hours support for Infrastructure related emergencies as well occasional weekend maintenance as needed.
• Provide occasional support to end-users, addressing basic hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Conduct training sessions for end-users on basic IT tasks and Azure-related topics as needed.
• Vendor Management.
• Other duties may be assigned based on qualifications.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Azure infrastructure management.
• Strong understanding of Azure cloud computing concepts and architectures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical issues clearly.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Basic understanding of IT support principles and willingness to assist with end-user issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft certifications such as Azure Fundamentals or Azure Administrator Associate are highly desirable.
• Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automation.
• SQL Database experience
• Great Plains experience

Soft Skills:

• Motivation to stay current with emerging Azure technologies and best practices.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
